The main colors of the project feature a subtle contrast between 30% seductive red and 60% strong, cool gray tones. The red symbolizes the blood of the Vietnamese people, embodying passion, power, and not only representing the fighting spirit and resilience but also a distinctive aspect of Vietnamese culture. This red is visible in ancient architectural works, from the red-tiled roofs of traditional houses to the village gates, where every brick is soaked with the traces of time. It serves as a bold accent in the overall design. In contrast, the cool gray symbolizes modernity, offering a perfect balance and creating a sophisticated, modern atmosphere that is nonetheless impressive. The combination of these two colors makes the space distinctive, visually appealing, and full of depth, while still carrying a distinctly Vietnamese essence.

The question arises: why did URHOUSE choose stainless steel and wood as the primary materials in this design? Because both materials not only differ in characteristics but also represent two different eras, between the old and the new, between the past and the present. Wood, with its natural grain, evokes memories of the old days, when everything was created by human hands. In contrast, stainless steel, with its shiny surface, represents the present, technology, and reflects the development of today’s world. The combination of these materials creates a space that is both soft and strong, enduring and sustainable.

The prominent red lighting, combined with warm yellow light, creates a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the lighting system is strategically arranged to highlight the beauty of every detail within the space, turning every corner into a vibrant, artistic picture that captivates guests from the very first glance.

The bar area features a luxurious, modern design

The image of airplanes freely suspended from the ceiling becomes a creative focal point in the space. However, few people can truly understand the design intention behind this. URHOUSE brings a profound message about the strong development of the industrial sector, the vision, and the ambition to reach for the future.

The image of simple, rustic stools evokes traditional Vietnamese culture

The fusion of the past and the present is subtly portrayed by URHOUSE through the image of rustic stools, once found at roadside stalls near old train stations. It brings back memories of times when people took life slow, before the trains whisked passengers off to new horizons.

The presence of these stools is not just a decorative detail but a bridge between the past and the present, enhancing the peacefulness of the space and reminding us of the value in life’s simplest things.

The Relax Innovation Lounge airline

This is the first and only accommodation model in Vietnam, designed to be compact and optimized, clearly expressed through business-class seats modeled after luxury airplane cabins. This has created both excitement and challenge for URHOUSE to contribute to designing the brand identity for a new brand and research to produce the first pieces of furniture, turning bold ideas into reality.

The working & meeting box

With a 24/7 self-service model, fully utilizing smart technology, the URHOUSE team and the client had to carefully consider and come up with the most appropriate design solutions to ensure usability, safety, and optimized user experience. At the same time, the design had to create an environment that was both luxurious and modern, in line with 5-star standards, while maintaining flexibility and high aesthetics.
