Where did the inspiration for The Antonia come from?

The owners of this apartment are individuals with profound intellect, a love for refined aesthetics, and a deep appreciation for Vietnamese cultural values. They are avid readers, seeing each book as a gateway to a world of knowledge, a sanctuary for the soul, and a source of inspiration. Alongside their intellectual pursuits, they have a profound love for Vietnamese art, especially paintings by Vietnamese artists, which have become an indispensable part of their lifestyle.

Understanding these values and unique preferences, URHOUSE has meticulously woven them into the design, creating a living space that bears the distinct personal imprint of the homeowner. From carefully curated artworks to a thoughtfully arranged layout that fosters seamless connectivity, every detail has been meticulously refined. This project embraces a contemporary style, striking a balance between modernity and a sense of warmth and authenticity. A key highlight of the design is the use of 100% wood for the entire interior, completely eliminating metal elements to create a pure, natural, and cozy ambiance. Free from excessive ornamentation or grandiosity, the space is defined by minimalist aesthetics, where a harmonious blend of straight and curved lines evokes a sense of lightness and grace.

Warm brown wood tones, complemented by hints of navy blue and soft gray, form the core color palette. Meanwhile, accents of lemon yellow, green, and deep wine red are thoughtfully integrated, adding a vibrant touch. The spacious kitchen and large dining table can accommodate up to 20 guests, making it ideal for hosting gatherings. The dining chairs, with their simple, cushioned design in neutral tones, offer maximum comfort while seamlessly aligning with the apartment’s minimalist style.

A natural wood bed frame in warm brown tones blends seamlessly with the soft, soothing surroundings, striking a balance between coziness and sophistication.
